SUMMER SESSION

At College Park Academy, learning doesn’t stop at the end of the school year. We offer a year-round opportunity for learning with the addition of our summer session. Our flexible summer session is available for incomplete courses and can be used by choice for additional course completion if students want to speed up their education.

During the summer session, the curriculum remains fully online through Pearson with both online and on-site teachers to guide students through coursework with the attention and instruction they need. Other courses are available on-site. At CPA, our summer courses are fully online, providing families with the flexibility of learning at home (or while traveling!) and does not require any transportation. For example, middle school students have the opportunity to take Science 8 over the summer, so they can take ninth-grade Biology in 8th grade. Summer Science is fully online, with experiments and lab work for children to complete at home, and a CPA teacher available to them for questions and support. Just like during the school year, students can self-pace their learning experience.

Summer session provides students the space to complete coursework they struggled with during the school year or accelerate their learning to graduate early if they want to pursue higher education faster. In our first graduating class, two CPA students graduated early to continue to college sooner. When College Park Academy students determine their readiness to accelerate, summer session allows them to do so supported and uninterrupted.
